I traveled to northern Ethiopia with minimal equipment (drone, camera, microphone) to document the ongoing geological events of the African continent splitting apart and the formation of a new ocean for the YouTube channels fern and Simplicissimus. I also captured the lives of the local nomadic communities who utilize the volcanic activity for their survival.
